Our highly-skilled and trained therapists incorporate play and Play-Based Sensory Integrative Therapy in direct occupational therapy treatment sessions with services that include:
Sensory Integration, sensory based feeding therapy, NeuroDevelopmentTherapy and manual therapy techniques
Fine motor development/visual perceptual development- hand dexterity, hand strengthening, using techniques from Handwriting Without Tears, fine motor precision
Motor planning, coordination, postural stability, bilateral coordination and balance
Self-regulation and emotional regulation skills which may include techniques from Therapressure Protocol (Wilbarger Brushing Protocol) and The Zones of Regulation Curriculum
Development of feeding skills which can include improved handling of eating utensils, increased food repertoire, managing new foods in mouth for chewing, and increasing ability to use a variety cups (open cup, straw, sippy cups)
In-person therapy is dependent on location and availability. Virtual/Teletherapy is available for California residents.
